AccuSift provides high-performance antibody pairs for Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) with exceptional lot-to-lot consistency. Optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, CLIA, ELISA, POCT), these antibodies offer high affinity and specificity to facilitate rapid detection.
Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) is a glycoprotein belonging to the albumin family. Its concentration is extremely low in adult serum. AFP has multiple important physiological functions, including transport activity, dual regulatory roles as a growth modulator, immunosuppressive functions, and T-lymphocyte-induced apoptosis. AFP is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma and various other tumors. It can be elevated in many malignancies, serving as a positive detection marker for multiple tumor types. Clinically, it is primarily used as a serum biomarker for primary hepatocellular carcinoma, aiding in its diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
