AccuSift provides high-performance tetracycline-class competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.Tetracyclines are a class of broad-spectrum antibiotics, primarily including chlortetracycline, oxytetracycline, and tetracycline. They share a common chemical core structure. Chlortetracycline and oxytetracycline are derivatives of tetracycline; the former is chlorotetracycline, and the latter is oxytetracycline. All tetracyclines are amphoteric compounds. They inhibit most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, exhibit bactericidal effects at high concentrations, and are effective against Rickettsia, Chlamydia trachomatis, and other pathogens, with particularly strong activity against Gram-negative bacilli. Their mechanism of action involves preventing aminoacyl-tRNA from binding to the ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting peptide chain elongation and protein synthesis, which suppresses bacterial growth. High concentrations can also exert bactericidal effects.
