AccuSift provides high-performance tetracycline competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.Tetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent. The tetracycline class of antibiotics primarily includes chlortetracycline, oxytetracycline, and tetracycline. These antibiotics share a common chemical core structure. Chlortetracycline and oxytetracycline are both derivatives of tetracycline; the former is chlorotetracycline, and the latter is oxytetracycline. All tetracycline antibiotics are amphoteric compounds. They inhibit most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, exhibiting bactericidal effects at high concentrations. They are also effective against Rickettsia and Chlamydia trachomatis, with particularly strong activity against Gram-negative bacilli. Their mechanism of action primarily involves preventing aminoacyl-tRNA from binding to the ribosomal subunit, thereby inhibiting peptide chain elongation and protein synthesis, which suppresses bacterial growth. High concentrations can also exert bactericidal effects.Performance Characteristics:
