Shrimp Myosin is the core functional protein responsible for muscle contraction in crustaceans such as Penaeus vannamei(Whiteleg shrimp). Belonging to the myofibrillar protein family, it consists of two heavy chains (MW ~200 kDa) and two pairs of light chains. Notably, the Myosin Light Chain (MLC) has been officially designated as Lit v 3 by the WHO/IUIS Allergen Nomenclature Subcommittee and is recognized as a novel and confirmed shrimp allergen.
AccuSift offers high-performance Anti-Shrimp Myosin Antibody Pairs, optimized for IVD kit development (including Lateral Flow Assays, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, and POCT). Featuring high affinity, high specificity, and excellent batch-to-batch consistency, these pairs enable rapid and reliable detection.
