Protein G is a streptococcal cell wall protein, also known as Streptococcal Protein G (SPG), that binds to antibodies from humans and various animal species. It is capable of binding to all subclasses of human, mouse, and rat IgG, as well as total IgG from rabbit, sheep, cow, horse, pig, and other species. The recombinant Protein G is produced through genetic engineering by expressing the antibody-binding domains (C1-C2-C3) of the native protein, retaining the full antibody-binding functionality of natural Protein G.Molecular Weight: 22.4 kDa
