AccuSift provides high-performance feline cystatin C antibody pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.Cystatin C (Cys‑C) is a cysteine protease inhibitor produced at a constant rate by all nucleated cells and cleared by glomerular filtration rate (GFR). It is primarily used for evaluating renal function, especially for early diagnosis of renal failure. The normal reference range of serum cystatin C in cats is 0.6–2.5 mg/L. Lower values indicate good glomerular filtration function, while elevated levels suggest possible renal impairment.Cystatin C is more sensitive than traditional markers (such as creatinine and urea nitrogen) and can detect abnormalities in mild renal dysfunction, whereas creatinine only rises significantly when GFR decreases to approximately one‑third of the normal value.Performance Characteristics:
