It is one of the most critical infectious diseases in cats. The disease primarily affects kittens under one year of age, with an infection rate reaching 70% in unvaccinated kittens aged 3-5 months, and a mortality rate of 50%-60%. Clinical symptoms include sudden high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and severe leukopenia.
