AccuSift provides high‑performance sterigmatocystin competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch‑to‑batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Sterigmatocystin is a mycotoxin produced by Aspergillusspecies (such as A. versicolorand A. nidulans), and is also an intermediate in the biosynthesis of aflatoxins. It consists of a difuran ring linked to a xanthone, structurally similar to aflatoxins but less toxic. It exhibits strong hepatotoxicity and nephrotoxicity, and can induce various tumors (e.g., liver cancer), with its carcinogenicity widely studied. It is mainly found in moldy grains (e.g., maize) and some agricultural products, often co‑occurring with aflatoxin contamination.
