High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), also known as a1-lipoprotein, is one of the serum proteins. Relatively rich in phospholipids, its concentration in serum is approximately 300 mg/dl. The protein component consists of approximately 75% ApoA-I and 20% ApoA-II.
