Class D serine carbapenemases are a group of carbapenem-hydrolyzing β-lactamases with a serine active site in the Ambler molecular classification. They belong to the OXA-type oxacillinase family and represent a major resistance mechanism in clinically relevant antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Also known as Carbapenem-hydrolyzing class D β-lactamases (CHDLs), they are commonly referred to as “OXA carbapenemases” in the field, denoting this class of serine-active-site class D carbapenemases.
AccuSift offers high-performance monoclonal antibody pairs against class D serine carbapenemases OXA-23 and OXA-48. Designed for IVD kit development (lateral flow, chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT), these antibodies deliver excellent batch-to-batch consistency, high affinity, and high specificity to enable rapid detection.
