Phencyclidine (PCP), also known as Angel Dust or PCP, is an organic compound. First synthesized by American chemist David E. Pearson in 1956, it is legally manufactured as a veterinary anesthetic. Due to its simple synthesis process, PCP can also be produced in illicit clandestine laboratories. Characterized by its low cost, easy availability, and intense euphoric effects, it became wildly popular among young substance users in the 1970s across Europe, America, and Asia, earning the nickname "Angel Dust."
To support law enforcement efforts, AccuSift provides high-performance competitive antibody pairs for phencyclidine detection. These reagents offer exceptional inter-batch consistency and are optimized specifically for IVD kit development, including lateral flow assays, chemiluminescence, ELISA, and POCT platforms. Featuring high affinity and high specificity, they enable rapid and reliable detection.
