AccuSift provides high-performance sodium saccharin competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch‑to‑batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Sodium saccharin is a food additive with no nutritional value. When consumed in large amounts, it can affect the normal secretion of digestive enzymes, reduce small intestine absorption capacity, and suppress appetite. Many countries have set limits on the use of sodium saccharin in food processing. In production and marketing activities, a few enterprises illegally overuse food additives such as sodium saccharin in pursuit of product sweetness, color, or shelf life, posing a potential threat to human health.
Sodium saccharin is a commonly used synthetic sweetener in the food industry, with the longest history of use, but also the most controversial. It is 300–500 times sweeter than sucrose.
On October 27, 2017, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) listed saccharin and its salts in its preliminary compilation of Group 3 carcinogens.
