AccuSift provides high‑performance SDMA (symmetric dimethylarginine) antibody pairings, characterized by exceptional batch‑to‑batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

SDMA testing is primarily used for kidney disease diagnosis in small animals (e.g., cats, dogs). Compared with other clinical indicators, SDMA is a sensitive marker for evaluating renal function in cats/dogs. SDMA levels rise when renal function loss reaches only about 25%, while serum creatinine typically increases only after renal function loss exceeds 70%. A retrospective study of 21 cats with chronic kidney disease showed that the mean time to elevated SDMA (range 1.5–48 months) was 17 months earlier than elevated serum creatinine. In a similar study of dogs with chronic kidney disease, the mean time to elevated SDMA (range 2.2–27 months) was 9.8 months earlier than elevated serum creatinine.
