AccuSift provides high-performance picloram competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch‑to‑batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Picloram is a hormone‑type herbicide that is absorbed and translocated by plant leaves, roots, and stems, quickly moving to growing points. It causes abnormal growth, wilting, defoliation, necrosis, and clogging of xylem vessels, leading to plant death. It controls most dicot weeds and shrubs, and is particularly effective against deep‑rooted weeds such as Canada thistle and field bindweed, but less effective against cruciferous weeds.
On October 27, 2017, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified picloram as a Group 3 carcinogen in its preliminary list of carcinogens.
