AccuSift provides high-performance 4‑chlorophenoxyacetic acid (4‑CPA) competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

4‑Chlorophenoxyacetic acid (4‑CPA) is a synthetically produced phenoxyacetic acid compound. Its sodium salt, sodium 4‑chlorophenoxyacetate, is used as a plant growth regulator. It accelerates cell division and inhibits root formation in bean sprouts, promoting thicker hypocotyls to increase yield and improve appearance. Studies have shown hepatorenal toxicity and reproductive cell damage in experimental animals. In 2015, China explicitly banned its use (and that of its sodium salt) in bean sprout production, but regulatory monitoring continues to detect its illegal use in multiple regions. The EU has completely prohibited its use.
