AccuSift provides high-performance diminazene diaceturate competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.Diminazene Aceturate is a broad-spectrum aromatic diamidine anti-protozoan agent effective against blood parasites. It acts by blocking kinetoplast DNA synthesis in trypanosomes and binding to the nucleus, inhibiting parasite division. It is primarily used to treat Trypanosoma evansiinfections, dourine in horses, and babesiosis in livestock, but its prophylactic efficacy against certain species is limited. The efficacy of diminazene varies significantly among different parasite species. For example, it effectively clears Babesia bigeminain cattle at low doses, whereas for Babesia divergensit only alleviates symptoms. Clinically, its relatively high toxicity should be noted; therapeutic doses may cause adverse reactions such as muscle tremors and frequent urination. Its narrow therapeutic window requires caution in repeated dosing. Its mechanism is also associated with inhibition of aerobic glycolysis in parasites and induction of nucleoprotein denaturation, which may lead to host hypoglycemia.Performance Characteristics:
