It is characterized by strong systemic activity, with insecticidal potency up to 20 times that of conventional neonicotinoids, and maintains stable efficacy even in low-temperature environments. As a broad-spectrum, low-toxicity insecticide, it is suitable for use on rice, wheat, tea, and other crops, exhibiting high toxicity against pests such as striped stem borer (Chilo suppressalis), yellow stem borer (Scirpophaga incertulas), and aphids. Efficacy can be enhanced by mixing with dichlorvos. Its environmental degradation half-life is less than one month, and microbial metabolism includes hydroxylation and dehydrogenation pathways.
