AccuSift provides high-performance isofenphos-methyl competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Isofenphos-methyl is primarily used as a novel soil insecticide with strong contact and stomach toxicity. It features a broad insecticidal spectrum and long residual activity. Its efficacy against underground pests is comparable to phoxim. It is mainly applied to crops such as wheat, peanuts, soybeans, corn, sweet potatoes, sugar beets, and apples to control underground pests like grubs, mole crickets, and wireworms. It also effectively controls armyworms, aphids, tobacco budworms, peach fruit borers, and spider mites.
In March 2022, following the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Deepening Reform and Strengthening Food Safety Work" and the "Pesticide Management Regulations", the State Council decided to phase out four highly toxic pesticides, including isofenphos-methyl. Sales and use were prohibited from September 1, 2024. The pesticide registration of its technical and formulated products was revoked from September 1, 2022, with production prohibited thereafter. Legally produced products could be sold and used within their quality guarantee period until the full ban took effect on September 1, 2024.
