AccuSift provides high-performance flavomycin competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Flavomycin is a phosphorylated polysaccharide antibiotic. Its antimicrobial mechanism involves interfering with the biosynthesis of peptidoglycan, a key structural component of bacterial cell walls, thereby inhibiting bacterial proliferation. Its growth-promoting effect is likely attributed to enhancing the digestibility of energy and protein in feed, thinning intestinal walls to improve nutrient absorption, and effectively maintaining the balance of intestinal flora and stability of rumen pH. Bacteria exhibit low propensity to develop resistance to flavomycin, and it shows little cross-resistance with other antibiotics. It has a relatively narrow antibacterial spectrum, primarily effective against Gram-positive bacteria (including strains resistant to other antibiotics), but exhibits weak activity against Gram-negative bacteria.
