AccuSift provides high-performance Ivermectin competitive immunoassay pairings, delivering exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). The pairings exhibit high affinity and specificity, enabling rapid detection.Ivermectin is a novel, broad-spectrum, highly effective, and low-toxicity antibiotic antiparasitic agent. It demonstrates potent efficacy against both endo- and ectoparasites, particularly nematodes and arthropods, but is ineffective against cestodes, trematodes, and protozoa. The parasiticidal action of macrocyclic lactone antiparasitics against nematodes and arthropods is mediated by increasing the release of the inhibitory neurotransmitter γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) within the parasite, and by opening glutamate-gated chloride channels. This enhances chloride ion permeability across the nerve membrane, thereby blocking neuronal signal transmission. The resulting neural paralysis causes loss of contractility in muscle cells, leading to parasite death.Performance Characteristics:
