AccuSift provides high-performance Abamectin competitive assay pairings, characterized by exceptional batch-to-batch consistency and optimized for IVD kit development (Lateral Flow, Chemiluminescence, ELISA, POCT). These pairings offer high affinity and specificity, facilitating rapid detection.

Abamectin exhibits both ingestion and contact toxicity against mites and insects, but does not kill eggs. Its mechanism of action differs from conventional insecticides: it interferes with neurophysiological activity by stimulating the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which inhibits nerve transmission in arthropods. Adult mites, nymphs, and insect larvae become paralyzed upon contact with abamectin, ceasing movement and feeding, leading to death within 2 to 4 days. Because it does not cause rapid dehydration in insects, its lethal effect is relatively slow. Although abamectin has a direct contact effect on predatory insects and parasitic natural enemies, the minimal residue left on plant surfaces results in very little harm to beneficial insects.
